Cork City W.F.C. are delighted to announce an association with the COPE foundation. The COPE Foundation is a not-for-profit voluntary organisation which supports approximately 2000 people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism throughout Cork City and county in Ireland. COPE Foundation has a long history of responsiveness, creativity, quality and innovation in meeting the needs of its clients.
The more formal association comes about after both organisations have regularly collaborated on running Football For All camps designed to promote participation in the game for players of all abilities. The recently run camps were promoting the UEFA Respect Difference campaign and players of mixed ability competed together in a safe fun filled environment with coaching by CWFC players.
Both the club and COPE Foundation are looking forward to a long association working together going forward.
